Also I love how it cuts from real-time to pre-render, it emphasizes being struck by seeing her.

This shows how silent hill is not an ordinary game, all the psychological complexity of characters and how it is manifested in a world that touches the spectator. This is why I love psychological thriller, it is not about silly jump scares

I don’t know how many people have caught onto this but Mary has different coloured eyes to Maria, and a slightly deeper skin tone. In the picture you get of her it looks as if she has brown/hazel eyes, but Maria has piercing blue eyes, it incredibly subtle but something someone would definitely notice.Especially if they were married.
