It was a nickname my friends gave me when I was in highschool because I dressed like a hippie and was a ‘wild child’, when I came back into my faith they thought ‘the religious hippie’ was now a more appropriate nickname and it stuck!

I kept hearing a voice telling me to go to confession. It usually happens when I feel so overwhelmed, and unsettled. I went to confession, and I really really felt so much relieved. I was able to go to for a pilgrimage and I’m so happy.

I was with you until the Mass and Confession part. Jesus is our mediator, we do not require a priesthood anymore to repent and receive forgiveness for our sins. Jesus already provided total forgiveness through His death and resurrection. We are in the NEW covenant now. All we have to do place our faith in Him and live according to His will. The Roman church claims divine authority that it was never granted. It is important to follow God's will, but Mass and Cinfession are not requirements for walking within God's will.
