I'm sorry to say this, but you forgot one thing, that's the creaking heart crafting recipe. Resin blocks sandwiched between two pale oak logs gives you the heart.

You know what would be really cool? If there was a trivia saying that the eyeblossoms acted like a seeing tool for the creaking. Like it can tell where you are within the forest so that the creaking can decide whether to spawn when the player gets near enough to the creaking heart. I think that should be a trivia

i had just encountered a creaking. it would've been scary enough but all the hostile mobs made me battle them and look away. thankfully I got enough resin to make a creaking heart and soo ill farm the stuff.

This update just feels like a wood update, like a "here, grab all this stuff inside the forest that we totally designed with the intent to do the bare minimum in and flesh out, you got wood a new mob and a new redstone block run away now little ones" I hate where this game is going. Like stop building biomes that can be more fleshed out. Over world is lacking because of it. We need larger updates to flesh out the world like caves and cliffs did, we need more realms to visit, for the end to be fleshed out and for one good solid nether update bringing a second demention on board. Instead they are adding to the void overworld list of areas that need to be worked on. Could of added witch villages inside of here exc but nope. Void biom.

I really like the eyeblossom. Let's say you're one of those people who are busy doing stuff all over your house and you're not even paying attention to whether it's daytime or not if you have an eye blossom nearby it is an excellent indicator

Also speaking of resin recently I changed my current armor. I have the eye armor trim on my suit. It was initially emerald green but I changed it to the resin color and I love it!

1 respawn with inventory, but lose lvls
2 respawn with lvls, but no items
3 respawn with nothing, except a map to a tombstone where you died, and all items and xp in a chest below

By the way something I just realized, the way that this creaking works and that you can kind of control where it is right just by not looking at it at certain points I realize the other day that it could probably work for your sculk farms as well. So let's say you're tired of killing mobs not in a specific place you can have the creaking do what you want within the range. And all you have to do is kill the heart when you wanted to die it might still give you the sculk
