I tested these for a week, and wow great value and full of features.

The good:
sounds fantastic. A bass boosted version of Harman Target. Very pleasant and not harsh at all. It has a wide soundstage.
The eq is great and responsive, but the default sound is so good you will barely edit it. you have a full Eq that lets you edit sub bass frequency as low as 32Hz. most other earbuds don't let you edit frequencies lower than 80 Hz. These babes can rumble because of the full bass extension. The default sound is tonally balanced for acoustic instruments while rumbling for EDM when needed.
Google fast pair makes first time pairing instant.
You will also see the battery level of the case and each earbud on the Google battery widget on Pixel without using any app (My favorite feature). Most phones report either the case only or the earbuds only. It's these small feature that improves usability a lot.
mono-mode works well and switching left to right only or right to left work with ease.
Side tone is great on calls and auto-pause sensor, and the battery saving timers settings are great features.
battery life is great.
the earbuds never connect while charging and almost never disconnect on regular usage. Most other earbuds I had before suffered from at least one issue and battery drain.
it attaches well to the ears and comfortable.
All the other features work as intended. transparency mode is average. ANC is actually decent.
The mics are surprising good at any condition.
Small case and earbuds

The bad:
The stem design makes using touch gestures a nightmare because their touch controls area is very small. They respond fast, but only if you manage to not miss that small area.
I wish the controls were fully customizable. why can't JBL let us Map touch controls fully? I want to use media controls with volume controls without losing ANC/ambient modes. And you don't have to shove the assistant controls down my throat I don't want it on either earbud.
Multipoint didn't work for me. I couldn't seamlessly connect and switch between 2 connected devices. I am not sure why or if its a bug.
ANC add lots of bass compared to ANC off. That is not great unless you want ANC on and the extra bass the whole time.
The app isn't stable. It doesn't always connect and I experience connection issues oddly only JBL headphones app is running. Good thing is you don't need to run the app unless you want to reconfigure the settings, change the Eq, Audio modes, or ANC, Ambient settings. The earbuds saves the Eq and most settings and controls.



JBL if you reading my comment, let me tell you how great this product is (9/10). But please work on your app. It needs performance and stability improvements and better custom button controls. Can you also fix multipoint connection with a firmware update?

The audio quality and bass is good.. But not able to get enough volume... Volume is comparatively less... Can it be fixed in a update on my jbl live pro 2

Hi JBL! I had the JBL 230NC TWS for a while and really liked the fit in my ear (M size): they didn't become loose overtime, I didn't notice them sitting there in my ears and the sound came through really well! But, the earbuds had a software bug which made them stay on when put back in the case. I called customer support and they told me I could send them back, so I did. Now, I'm doubting to buy them again, since I was informed the software bug has been solved, or go with the new Live Pro 2. My biggest concern is the fit, since I have difficult ears and the fit on the 230NC were truly amazing, and that is something I don't expierence with a lot of earbuds. Are you guys able to tell me anything about the fit of the JBL Live Pro 2, compared to the fit of the 230NC, which I found to be amazing? Thank you so much in advance, I'd love to hear from you guys!

PLEASE HELP.. Great sounding earphone. Problem is for some reason they are now stuck in mono mode so my right earphone doesn't work and ive tried unpairing, resetting, plugged into a power source in the case and resetting multiple times and nothing has fixed it... nothing in the JBL app helps.

Bought as a gift to someone else and done the exact same thing for them. Is there a firmware update that will fix this? I'm going to get a refund if nothing can be done.

Anyone know what I can do?

My set of these only gives my 4.5 hours max of play time with ANC off, and continuous unstable bluetooth connectivity. This is my second pair after the first one giving me the same problems. I returned the set to JBL and ordered these hoping for the best but got the exact same problems. I truly love the sound. I've been a JBL fan since buying a JBL soundbar years ago. My car even came with Harman Kardin audio standard. But these are a HUGE disappointment since I really need them for work. I contacted tech support and was told to do a hard reset, which I did to no avail. JBL also told me I could return these for a replacement, which would be take least 14 days. I don't know if a third set would be any better than the two I bought at this point. I've only had this set less than a week, and the problems like the first set began out the box. I wish JBL would send out an update to optimize the battery and connectivity.
