Great vehicle. The ride on an S550 cannot be beat. I think they cheapened the seats and in order to get decent seats you would have to spring for a Maybach or just get them reupholstered. I think it's looks are understated and the actual experience of driving it is what is important, its not too flashy, but when you sit in it you know you are in something special.

I drive my S550 very aggressively (w221) and it’s a blast. The grip this vehicle has is incredible for it’s size. It can take curves at over twice the speed limit with little to know body roll and intense grip. The RWD ones also do pretty great burnouts. They aren’t cheap to maintain, but I don’t know if any other vehicle I’d realistically want to daily more than the S.

I’ve owned 3 s550s, current one is a 16 coupe, amazing cars especially 2nd hand, never gave me any issues, my last one a few years ago was a 2017 with 130k miles, in which I put 70k miles on it with 0 issues, these are the best sedan for the money hand down. I also owned a 2017 750i m sport back in 2019, it was an amazing car aswell, I liked the transmission zf8 speed better then the 7 speed auto in the s class, it sounded better, more sporty more grunt and the tech was great, those are my top 2 best sedans Forsure!! I highly recommend them :)
