Please note that any income except interest income from an investment is possibly illegal. F1 Students with OPT or CPT should only work in a job that is inline with your course. On the other hand H1Bs must have a Concurrent H1B, and I am not sure how one can get an H1B for referral income. Students are getting deported, and getting into a lot of trouble, I strongly suggest not to engage in earning any PASSIVE income, even if nothing happens today, you may get caught during your green card interview process. Great video Omkar! Much needed. Can you make a detailed video if possible on trading. Like on F1-OPT what is allowed and what is not allowed. I know day trading isn't allowed by what other options we can trade on so that we can earn weekly income without red flag from immigration pov. Thanks Man, Appreciated!
