A Hamas official has said it is “ready” for a Gaza ceasefire “immediately” but claimed it has not received serious proposals from Israel in months.

Joining Talk’s Alex Phillips, Colonel Simon Diggins highlighted the intransigence of both sides, with Israel seeking defence and hostage recovery, while Hamas demands a permanent Israeli withdrawal from Gaza.
