- long before the Romans, several islands in a set of river channels had stone age settlements on them, and before them mammoths lived there.
- later a bronze age town with bridges (see the Battersea Shield) across several river channels, plus ships bringing amber from the coast of Lithuania.
- and a later iron age town with trading links that spanned Europe and into Russia and the Mediterranean sea.
It's not just Romans, we did some things without them, as well. ;-)

I’m in London for sightseeing on my own and for the past two days I encountered two incidents consecutively whereby a group of young cyclists were shouting at me “fxxking (Asian)” from afar approaching me. Maybe they think I have blocked their way. The locations are at guard memorial and Greenwich college way. Sad to see some young british are being so racist and violent nowadays !

I found the story somewhat entertaining however it was not in lightning so many people should hear of the impact that the Sex Pistols had how many times have TV shows covered the Beatles and then when the Sex Pistols come along oh they're going against the grain of royalty so let's not show that lets only show what's flattering that seems more American than anything The Royals are one of the most phoniest institutions the world has ever seen however the Sex Pistols were one of the most honest and in-your-face institutions the world that ever seen unadulterated by money the opposite of the Royals but the phony gets the glory very disappointed as somebody who watches the show religiously for over 30 years I'm reconsidering continuing on if you can't cover something that I know about how do I trust what you're telling me that I don't know about is accurate it's something to consider
