My man! My late father and I constantly entertained the idea of a diesel electric truck to reduce reliance on fuels as truck drivers. I am utterly surprised that you are the first man of reason to scale down diesel electric technology from locomotive applications to road transport. I can see this changing the entire industry at some point with the right amount of dedication.

Now THAT, is a brilliant compromise. And something people must understand, this right here, heavy haul and extreme duty is where hybrid drive systems make the most sense. And I am so happy to see this becoming a thing. This, is how you bridge gaps in tech more intelligently.

I like this guy. He finds a simple solution to a problem, makes while everyone is still bitching how it can’t be done and only they can do, while he’s completely fine with customers working on their own trucks. He uses an older model cause it was built to last while other corporations will just make disposable equipment. He’s a fantastic model for what a businessman should be like as well a decent human being.

We had preheaters for our boilers in the Navy on our USS ships and they worked well. What you're doing is a good idea
