So happy that you've taken on care and ownership of the four remaining kitties. Getting them spayed and neutered is also very responsible, or you'd have had a garden full of in-bred kittens! Plus, getting them all their shots, as well as the regular meals you're providing is so caring and will give the birds and small rodents in the neighbourhood a chance of a longer life, instead of becoming the next meal. What a lovely story. I love her last line "it's a blessing to take those moments where you, as a human, can reach your hand out and help them". If we all did that on this planet everyday what a difference it would make. I think the people who watch The Dodo already are those kinds of people.

This is exactly what is happening at my house. Started feeding one kitty under foundation of my house. Later that kitty introduced me his/her siblings of 4 and pair of a parent plus a few of his uncles or aunty. Churr and kitty treats are on top of my grocery shopping list.

I just rescued a cat Thursday 😊 I was picking up my younger sister from school. We had 50mph winds and the poor girl was being blown over. I managed to get her into my car and she’s doing alright. She’s severely under weight, but she’s already putting on weight. I named her Snickers 😁
