These mods are pretty cool. I’m really wanting to download them, but my PC seems to have been traumatized by a leviathan at some point because it has PTSD flashbacks from time to time where it refuses to run anything consistently at its original speed. Don’t worry, I’m providing Altera grade therapy, take from that what you will.

To any new modders or people new to the new game. There are a lot of mods that work for only the "legacy" or "pre 2.0" update of the game. Basically if the mod says it uses QModManager or SML, then it's an old mod. Mods these days use the BepInEx library and Nautilus library. sadly you can't tell nexus to "filter out" any mod that requires SML or QModManager.

anyway one mod that's been a godsend is Dynamic Scanner blips. EasyCraft, QuickSlot+, and QuickBatterySwitch

One of the best QOL mods i ever got was Defabricator. If nothing else the ability to compress titanium into ingots to save on storage and then decompress them later when needed is a godsend. 1 wall locker only holds 30 titanium. But in ingot form it can hold 300.

I’d also recommend snapping storage lockers! Super helpful for my OCD.

Very recent mod thats called the beluga. its a atlas sub concept and its incredible. Its heavily expensive to make. You need to make a cyclops, 8 reactor rods, and more but its so fun especially with the silence mod.

I’m not sure why you would really want those color and light changes. Obviously it does resemble real oceans and deep areas better, but it ends up removing a lot of the vibrant beauty of the game. Like why would you ever want to turn the colorful shallows into almost monotone grey. If you want to make a subnautica movie, it would probably look great as an editing effect, but not in the actual gamr

Also if anyone has problems with mods from nexus, theres clear instructions in each description of the mod and you can watch videos on how to get bepinex working, remember to update your mods.

I have hella mods for Below Zero and Sub and they work in harmony just like in the showcase vids from here and anthomnia.

Hopefully Odyssey will be added on BepInEx. And really can't wait for the return of the ancient mod. I'm still hoping that they will release it soon.
