Yes, you're advised to carry your ID card or passport at all times, but cash and credit cards are becoming less and less necessary in the world's most populous country. And it's all thanks to mobile devices and electronic payments, which, pardon the pun, are accepted virtually everywhere. the problem is foreigner or tourist cant do this. it's so hard to actiivate wechat payment since we need chinese bank account. which is super hard to get unless you are working there

i swear PIN security was there when i was in China.... not sure how she got it removed. sure was annoying entering pw everytime i had to pay something. i wonder if it has something to do with me having a big account. LMAO.
