In this video I'll be unboxing and having a first look at the new 2024 Microsoft Surface Laptop 7 with the Snapdragon X Elite ARM SoC chip. This is supposed to be THE Windows Macbook killer, boasting high performance, LONG battery life, and an actually good translation layer this time!

i wonder how responsive the OS is compared to a low-powered AMD or Intel system. Because with multiple high-res external monitors and many programs open, Windows gets less and less responsive over time: you see some delays when opening file explorer windows, or even when navigating between windows using the task view (Win + Tab). This behavior might be different on ARM systems depending on how well Windows is optimized for ARM.
