It is arguably the best Snapdragon laptop on the market. Only other competition is the Lenovo Yoga 7x. I like the port selection and adjustable SSD.

Battery life is highly subjective. For instance, Just Josh gets only 5 hours of battery life, while I get 8 hours. I make sure to use all the features, as I don’t want to compromise on performance when I pay so much for a laptop. I have 60% brightness, 120Hz refresh rate (the default is 60Hz), 2160p playback, light mode enabled, Windows HDR on, and no power-saving mode. While 8 hours is disappointing, I get the same battery life with my LG Garm 13-Gen 17-inch; it is doable.

Considering the compromises, I find it difficult to recommend the X Elite. However, I will reevaluate my opinion when the more affordable $800 models become available, as their lower price makes the issues less bothersome.

This is still the best ARM Windows laptop overall 👍🏻
However, ZEN 5 REIGNS ⚡️⚡️🔥🔥 Imagine what Intel has with Lunar Lake 🔥🔥🔥

You onlfull0y get the SD Card on the 15" model. I have the 13.8", but it doesn't bother me since I have a USB-C dongle with a full-sized SD Card slot, as well as HDMI, Ethernet, several USB-C, Thunderbolt 4 ports, and various others.

My current MacBook 2020 often dies within 3 hours running safari, notion, and a calander. My iPhone 12 also dies very quickly even though I got a new battery. All that being said, my experience with Apple is becoming more and more lackluster despite their hype and am more and more enticed by android and windows 😂

think the most confising thing about all those snapdragon devices is a price. maybe its better to show "new era" with high-end laptops, but then we (automatically) compare it cpu/gpu power to same price range intel-amd devices, and it looks not so great (partially because of software, but still). -200$-250$ lower and all cons are nothing
