What a run that was..I've seen it live and still come back to this vid regularly and still can't fully grasp what she just did there. Didn't know Femke before that race, since I'm not a fan of the sport per se, only watching main events like olympics etc. Since that day I am a huge fan of her. Huge talent with an awesome personality

How lucky I am that I was there OMG! The crowd was amazing, and clearly the loudest during this race, especially the final 15 seconds… I could hardly hear the voice of my friend next to me. I remember I saw that Femke was starting to shift to another gear in the final 100m and was hoping that as a supertalented hurdler she is able to maintain her speed better than her opponents… than I started shouting about 80-90 meters before the finish line: COME ON FEMKE, YOU CAN DO THIS!!!! She did! She did!
I was a 400 m hurdler myself so I have experience from inside what it means to run 400 m flat tooo…. This was soooo special, she and Klaver was just outstanding…. Never ever forget this race!
