Instead of hating on each other, we should just feel lucky to watch the top best female athletes the world have ever seen competing in 400 m hurdle 😊

Man... Sub 51 is no joke. Love that Femke keeps pushing herself to get better when others count her out. I am not going to sit here a debate between her and Syndey at this point. I am just appreciating what I just saw. Sub 51. First Dahlilah breaks 53. Then Syndey breaks 51, and now Femke joins her. Just remarkable.

Sydney is still the one to beat, but Femke has been closing the gap the last two years, it'll be a great race in Paris. May the best woman win!

The amount of talent heading into this olympics makes me feel this could be a one to remember

A 0.5 second PB and 1.5 second SB is insane at her level. Props to her and Sydney for continuously raising the bar.

Best thing about Bol that she doesn't care about the hate and the chances she just keeps running and improving constantly

Splendid. It will be great to see a 400h race where Sydney doesn't have time to make a sandwich before the next person finishes.
Both are simply magnificent athletes.

Femke Bol just won Gold Olympics 2024 4 × 400 relay mixed after recovering from 4th place .. She rules ..

She and Sydney have run these crazy times all alone, with no one close. Cant' wait to see what each does when there is a competitor pushing them.

I don't have a preference for the winner in Paris, because I admire both athletes and can only appreciate their hard work and dedication. They will settle this themselves regardless of the opinion of the masses. I'm sure these beautiful ladies are only focused on their race and leave the hate to pathetic pseudo fans of the sport.

Should be a superb final if they're both at their best. Let's hope they both fight it out in the final for one to remember 🎉

Yep this race is what I am looking forward to the most of the upcoming olympics. I would be happy with either of them winning.

she is still slower than sydney, but she sure as hell stepped up! Really proud of Bol as a dutch fan and I hope it will be exciting in paris. Hopefully they can push eachother to new heights

Honestly, Bol and Sydney are absolutely ridiculous athletes and they've been putting down their best times so far without the other one on the track.
They both seem to be people who perform in the big moments too so its very possible we could see the 2 fastest times ever in the Olympic finals when they actually push one another.

Same here, I'm always rooting for Femke but when I saw Sydney record breaking run, I thought it's over. What a race it's going to be in Paris

Bro what have I been telling you for months at this point. Scariest thing is… I just went back, slowed it down, counted step by step carefully. Bol is still doing 15 steps for half and slipping to 16 the last half. Syd just broke the record doing the same thing more or less. Her Olympic gold she was hitting 15 for more hurdles so one would think she’s going to ramp up to hit 15 throughout or as many as she can. So I don’t think we’ve seen either of their best and I bet my channel that record gets smashed. Guaranteed.

The danger is If Bol does 15 for all of them, she’s not going to be beaten. She’s still doing more 16 step hurdles and running sub 51. That’s terrifying. But that’s a tall order to go 15 al the way after all those rounds. However she has a considerable length advantage over syd being so much taller. I think the lack of competing on European soil with such a limited race program might finally catch up with Syd. Whereas Bol has quietly been doing her speed work and already dropped 4 sub 50s quarters. Honestly Imo it’s asking too much of Bol at this age to 15 step but next cycle it’s a done deal. But this time around might be the sweet spot where it depends on the day. What we know for sure is Syd has incredible mental resilience in a dog fight down the stretch as Tokyo proved losing by a good margin after 5 hurdles. This race will come down who can dig deeper as I think neither will separate through the 200 m split. That is assuming she 16 steps. Bc at this pace no hurdler currently can go all the way but if anyone is closest, it’s Bol being more genetically gifted that 3 inches of height will do a lot. Same problem Noah has chasing usain’s records. All the talent and hard work in the world can take you 95% but gd it’s hard to beat Mother Nature with a 6’5 freak of nature knee driving with an ungodly VO2max. And Bol being taller than Noah herself is another advantage but this cycle Syd still has enough in her bag to take gold. This is probably the one race I won’t bet on honestly . If there’s a prop bet for them BOTH breaking the world record in the final, I’m taking that in a heartbeat though

I'm only here to see an interview with her and Sydney Mclaughlin. Bol's voice to the amount of heart she has is wild. She speaks for all the underdogs and she is a champ for that already

This is shaping up to be the highlight of Paris.
I can hardly wait. And I wish Sydney would also run the 400 flat.
