DESCRIPTION
Super lightweight, waterproof GORE-TEX® Paclite® jacket with essential backcountry features and helmet compatible StormHood™ serves as an easily packable emergency storm jacket in an alpine environment. At 305 g (10.8 oz) this is the lightest alpine hardshell in the Arc'teryx line.

Alpine Light
Design, materials and build combine to make this the lightest alpine compatible Arc'teryx waterproof shell. The use of e3D patterning technology helps create a jacket that uses minimal materials to create a trim fit with enhanced freedom to move.

Packable Protection
N40r GORE-TEX® fabric with Paclite® technology is one of the lightest waterproof/breathable fabric we use. Highly packable, it features a mini-ripstop face for increased tear strength and an exceptional DWR treatment for a high level of initial water repellency.

Commitment to Details
Innovative construction and patterning work with lightweight materials to shed grams. The 1.6 mm micro-seam allowance reduces weight and bulk, as does the use of 13 mm GORE® seam tape. Even the zipper pulls use an ultralight cord.

An ultralight shell that is all about minimizing weight and bulk without sacrificing advanced performance. It is thoughtfully designed emergency storm protection for fast and light alpine climbing, and works in tandem with the Alpha SL Pant to deliver the confidence to perform even in highly adverse weather conditions.

I've been a nauseam since 1977, so I know a little bit about gear. I LOVE your stuff. I can't say it any simpler than that. It's virtually all I have. I don't even mind (too much) paying your exorbitant (is that too big of a word...okay, then outrageous?) prices. But for God's sake would you please make your gear available in adult sizes? It's a struggle to find a XXL in anything! And could you come up with some "male" colors for your men's line? I really won't buy or wear some effeminate shade of freaking puce, mauve, cerulean, or turquoise. I've resisted buying your Alpha SV bibs because a). I can only find it in dwarf and midget sizes. b). It's only available in heron. What kind of fucking color is "heron?"
