Some inaccuracies presented. 1) 360's do not require engine out service. Not even for cambelts, although that is an additional expense over the 430 (every 3-5 years). 2) the f1 and manual trans is essentially the same transmission. the F1 is not "better"...it shifts faster, and well suited for track use, for the few who will ever track their cars. however it is arguable that the manual is subjectively a better experience, and certainly is more reliable and requires less maintenance vs the f1 (which seemed to put you off of the 360 :))

My #1 piece of advice when buying toys like this (out of warranty, exotic, etc) is to have a 20-30k play fund. Something breaks, you have already paid for it in your mind and you just dip into the play fund you have set aside. If you think setting aside 20-30k is crazy (not accusing anyone), you probably can’t afford the car 😉

360 does not require engine out maintenance, but about par for someone who thinks F1 is better than a proper gated shifter.

Hey John I got my 430. My first Ferrari, I love it so far. I got a used Novitec exhaust, it sounds awesome. I also bought used Novitec NF3 wheels from ebay. It's going to be a bad ass car.

Nice video, had mine 5 years now. Nero Daytona with black interior, yellow stitching, calipers, binnacle etc. She still gives me the fizz to drive and look at. If I sold her today she wouldn't have cost me a penny. Forza Ferrari x

Great video John. Loved how you put it together. Loved the opening shots of the car pulling out of the garage and the soundtrack too. You know, maybe you should get some Ferrari clothes, oh wait, never mind! -Chris

I agree with "the fear". I bought a Gen V Viper GTS and a 2017 Corvette Z06/07 for that exact reason. I drive the heck out of them, and the thought of them breaking never even crosses my

I always felt that having a fast exotic car is like owning your own roller coaster.

Is there an aftermarket clutch that can last longer than the OEM clutch? Like for the lambos for example.

Good Video...I agree with most points as I too own a 2005 F430 Spider. Had it for a little over 2 years, put 12, 000 miles on it so far...love it. Absolutely can be used as a daily driver. Great Car!

Sounds sick man.. I have a M3 with a DCT transmission love it.. 36O don't require engine out but the 355 do.. my next car will be a 360

Is the F430 an automatic or do you “have” to paddle shift when driving it?

people may get crazy listening about the F1 transmission, but I agree tbh, my biggest concern would be reliability but whatever.

When I get mine, I will work on it myself. I like working on nice cars. I had a vette and loved it, I was 21yo. I have a 530BMW with M package. But yes, it's not a Ferrari. I also thought about the 308/328's too but with prices going up, I feel F430 Scuderia for me.

Do you always cruise through the trailer park when you take your ferrari out?

Great video! I am shopping for an F430 right now and looking to see what others think. I spoke to a guy who has owned both the 360 and 430 and he said buy the 430 no matter what! I am not going to be racing it and prefer not to have a typical stick shift, so the 430 paddle is great.

Dude - you are wrong.. 360s do not require an engine out service. The last V8 Ferrari that required that was the 355. Manual is also the only way to go for cars that were still available in stick whilst the cars were still being produced. The single clutch mechanism of the F1 system in the 360 and 430 is both clunky and outdated. Moreover, the clutch wears out quicker on the F1 system. Finally, the manual is a much better investment over the long term.
