Democratic Principles

There are several guiding principles that act as the foundation for democracy: fundamental freedoms, free and fair elections, accountability and transparency, the rule of law and citizen participation.

CIVIX is organizing a Student Vote parallel election for elementary, intermediate and high schools throughout the country coinciding with the 2019 federal election.
