INFP Personality | 12 Secrets Of The INFP Personality Type

A Mediator (INFP) is someone who possesses the Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Prospecting personality traits. Making up only 4% of the population, these rare personality types tend to be quiet, open-minded, imaginative, and apply a caring and creative approach to everything they do.

Mediator personalities are true idealists, always looking for the hint of good in even the worst of people and events, searching for ways to make things better. While they may be perceived as calm, reserved, or even shy, Mediators have an inner flame and passion that can truly shine. Comprising just 4% of the population, the risk of feeling misunderstood is unfortunately high for the Mediator personality type – but when they find like-minded people to spend their time with, the harmony they feel will be a fountain of joy and inspiration.

does anyone else really wish they were at parties or socializing because they feel like they are missing out but the second they are at the party and socializing they wish they were at home, all alone?

As an INXP I find it easy to understand others but hard to express myself to others

There was a quote about Infp saying that "Infps are emotional therapists of others but they need therapy themselves" this is true to me. We are nicknamed the healer but personally I am tired of always trying to help others there are moments where I too would like having someone who help me emotionally and to whom I share my burdens too without fear of been judge or critisize. Some times I admire the non sensitive types for their ability to always express themselves clearly without paying attention to others emotions. I love been an Infp but when you grow up in a world with a majority of extroverts and rational types who treats you as an outcast simply because they don't understand you, you quickly wish to be in another world.

One thing I’ve always noticed ever since I was little, was how easy it was for everyone to tell me their problems. However when I would try to speak about mine I would never really feel like people were getting it or cared, not even because of something they did that’s just how it feels sometimes

No. 6 is so true. Sometimes I wish that someone will ask me if i'm fine. I don't need for that someone to give me advice but to hear my inner hurdles without any sense of judgement. Just pure listening will greatly suffice.

Yep that’s me, wanting to travel and explore, the person who finds the most mistreated or ugly animal in the store, and the one who asks why the world works the way it does.

It’s weird. I’m an INFP but I’m very loud and boisterous when with others. All my friends say I fit more into the ENFP group, entertainer. But being around people just... exhausts me extremely quickly. I love to entertain, I love making people laugh and smile, but I can’t do it for very long.

No wonder I've been feeling like my life has been worthless and a waste. I don't have any passions anymore, I don't have anything that's inspiring. I'm trying to find it, but I've been struggling for a long while. Doesn't help I deal with ADHD, Anxiety, and Depression on top of being an INFP. Feels a little better knowing I'm not alone though.
