The INFP or mediator personality is penned by some people as the “children of the Myers Briggs personality assessment.” This is because of the radical differences in personality. While the mediator personality is seen as introverted, it also has many aspects of the extrovert, making it a curious combination of the two. While the INFP personality is loving and empathetic, it can also become awkward and exhausting by being around too many people.

Stubborn at times, yes. Elusive at times, yes. Engulfed by heartache, yes, but not only about a broken relationship. Also heartache over the world and its evil of so many kinds. We have an idealism about people and their actions and the world and feel disillusioned, heartbroken, and sometimes paralyzed in the face of so much dysfunction and disharmony, greed and corruption. But I think we are seldom harsh or unkind unless we have been stressed to the max. And our lack of follow-through is mainly only allowed when we are the only ones affected. We try to accommodate others and their issues as far as we can, but everyone has a limit to how much they can give and we go further than most. Just my perceptions.

God has impossibly high standards because He loves us; yet He still loves us and all He really wants from us is effort. Just keep on going, on the narrow path.
That makes complete sense to me, as an INFP. Standards are standards and people are people. We do love humanity very, very much. But we don’t have to lower standards in order to do that.
Does that make sense?
