Today, I completely strip my 2017 Dodge Charger V6 and can't wait to get rid of the smell. Jared and I also find some rather unsettling leftovers in this abandoned and stolen former rental car, on its way to become a brand new Dodge Charger Hellcat Redeye. You may want to turn Smell-O-Vision off for this one.

Chargers are a lot of fun, they keep your electronics working and convert rubber into smoke very well!

Cop: The VIN comes back as a V6, please step out of the stolen car.

Tavarish: No, see, Dodge gave me a Hellcat but I had to give it back. They gave me everything, I promise!

Cop: Sure they did...

This is the smartest project you have ever done! I am impressed. You are saving a great car from the crusher and getting a Hellcat for next to nothing. Salute!

There's something ingenious about this video, the montages are awesome, music choices are great. And we don't have to watch you struggle for 3 minutes straight with one bolt. It's therapy; cool music and car fixin', sweet.

Freddy: "I will have essentially a Hellcat Redeye for the price of a V6 beater"

Samcrac: [cries in kaput Aston Martin]

Would be hilarious if you kept the V6 bodykit on it, ultimate sleeper 😂

Labeled zip lock bags are the best for big jobs! It's about the only project trick I learned from my Dad, usually just held the flashlight. Made keeping track of all the bolts doing the chain guides on the E39 easy. Most times I can keep track, but when you have to take off a whole bunch, there's no better way. It has saved me a lot of headaches, something I have enough of as it is since I'm generally an idiot.

I still remember the first time I’ve been to the US in 2008 and our rental car was a Charger V6. It was a really nice car actually. For me it was a huge car, considering we only had a 1, 4 liter VW Golf back home in Germany.

It's been my dream to see someone put a V8 motor into a V6 charger thank you Florida Freddy.

Am a long time viewer and um, so, long time subscriber. Glad to hear you finally admit you do like the Charger platform. LOL! Before you um, uh, merely hinted at it. I hadn't been a fan of the new generation of Chargers until I was in a real need of car to replace my old that ate itself. Out of desperation decided to test drive an R/T platform well, it was the only one available and was wowed by the performance and to total package and bought it. Its been the most fun and the best reliable car I have ever owned.
