Using "Image Restore" might be an even faster way to get your machine back up and running. Of course, this assumes routine image backups are done on a regular schedule.

I have a USB stick that boots to a Windows utitilty suit and it has chkdsk on it so 9/10 this always fixes a BSD situation, example, chkdsk C: /f

I got into using gmail because it was a free service that didn't require a mobile number to setup. That is the only reason I have an email service because I can't afford a mobile phone. Now gmail is starting to give me trouble because I can't give them a phone number because I can't afford a mobile phone. That also means I can't text and I can't do 2-step-verification because I only have one desktop computer. I am worried gmail is trying to get rid of all their users who don't have the ability to provide a mobile phone number and then I am back to having no email at all. Is there anyway around this for someone like me who cannot afford a cellphone because I don't make enough money?

What do I do if gmail starts blocking my email service because I don't have a cellphone? They never required a cellphone number before and this is the only reason I have email at all, because I can't afford a cellphone.
