I'm going through my first year. It is quite difficult to juggle school, work, family, and YouTube at the same time. My advice is to prepare before hand, be persistent, and a quick learner. I took the entire summer to prepare this channel and I still am learning plenty of things. No one grows a YouTube channel success overnight or even over months.

This is great! I've been putting off making YouTube videos for a year now. I used to have an audience back in 2008, but since I stopped uploading frequently no one comes back to my channel. I always find an excuse, such as being too self-critical. This gave me some good motivation. Cheers :)
