I taught ChatGPT to be my Personal Trainer

I taught an AI program called ChatGPT to write better custom workouts than most personal trainers... and I did it in under an hour!

Let me know in the comments what you think about the ChatGPT, and what you think about the potential for using artificial intelligence to create custom workout programs.

Will this be helpful for new trainers that just got their certification? Like making chatgpt customize nutrition plans into a pdf and send it off to clients.
And making it produce a mass email to clients.
But I have noticed many experienced trainers are against anything to do with A.I in their buisness. But I guess its a generational thing.

I find this absolutely fascinating and I've thought about it a lot. I'm sure there are already a handful of start up companies exploring some of these ideas. Take a handful of good coaches and 1000's of athletes reporting their progress, injury, etc (the more data the better) and a machine learning algorithm should be able to do pretty well at suggesting daily workouts. It'd be interesting to see some of the underlying tech that Garmin is using for it's suggested workouts. Thanks for making this video. 👌

Yes, PT's who are competent are limited by the amount of 1-to-1 attention that they can give. This technology allows competence to scale like never before, so that I don't have to pay for the personal time of the PT while getting the result that a generation before would need such personal time. I would say it is a win-win.
And, no, I am not worried about it. If you are, then just ask ChatGPT what sort of service a human PT still can provide on top of this platform.

But the PT who CHARGES as if this was personal time since "the customer value is so great" without finding a new win-win model will probably be out of business.

For me it's about cost. The fitness sector had been hijacked by hacks and quacks that then charge $$$$, and made apps that they more than likely just use a.i so why should I pay them, I can just get it for free myself.
A.i. can give me something for next to nothing in cost and help me get to where I want. My success is not dependent on paying some coach or app who probably do way worse than A.I.
If this butt hurts someone in fitness too bad, learn to code and make your money else where.
