Kennecott Copper took down a mountain in the Bingham Canyon district, extracted millions of tons of copper which pretty much wired up the national power grid. Now we need four times as much copper to upgrade our national grid. Thats what these huge machines are good for.

Congratulations on your fantastic new machine, I know you’re very proud of all the work that went into getting it.

We took delivery of a new (way smaller) brand spanking new loader recently ... when the low loader comes around the corner with the new machine it’s like every Christmas morning all at once. Use it and make a dollar, it’ll be the old machine soon and your kids grown up! 👍👍👍👍

wow lovely machine is it difficult to operate the joy stick steering compare to the standard one. I never experience to operate with the joystick

When you buy a machine like this, do you get a full fuel tank to go with it like when you buy a car?

I learned to drive loader on a 986. Feeding wash plant 250 ton an hour lol had to learn fast

What was the bucket capacity on that one? I currently run a 980m loading our primary crusher, would love it if the boss got me something a bit bigger, I tested a 982m with the 8.5yrd bucket for 40 hours and loved it!
