This reporter is a bit of a jerk. Such condescending looks toward someone who was a child during the revolution. She's glaring and wincing at her the entire time, and she's like "You had doubt, but did you denounce what was happening--watching your parents be publicly humiliated?" Heck no she didn't denounce it! She was a CHILD--which the reporter ALREADY established! She was a ten year old little girl who was scared and no idea what was going on. Has this woman read ANY of the memoirs or things from this time period? Instead of sympathy, this woman is showing contempt. Just look at Min Zhou's expression in 2:10 to 2:12 ... CNN and their "reporters."

lol, showed this video to my students since we're reading about the Cultural Revolution. My students all want to know why the CNN reporter is so hostile and rude to her. Good question. Other than that, a good video.

She had ‘lots of fun’ during the time her parents were publicly humiliated in a ‘Struggle Session’
