I'm so sad to see that Etihad isn't considered top 5 anymore. Their business class used to be excellent, though the last time I flew from London to Australia with them was a very underwhelming experience. Thank you for this video, it's been really useful.

As a Korean, I also recommend Korean Air's Business(Prestige) class. The new seat called Prestige suite 2.0(only in Boeing 787 - 10), provides as good service and privacy as first class seats with sliding doors. Prestige sweet 1.0 is also good with huge seat but other seats like Prestige slippers are not that good.

Have travelled business class on Etihad, KLM, and for the last few years Qatar. Etihad was excellent up until a few years ago and then suddenly went downhill.Qatar I have been flying business class regularly for about five years, they are probably still number one but i have noticed that they are not as efficient as they once were plus the fact that the price of middle eastern airlines seats has skyrocketed .KLM for the price I found very good value for the price.

We’ve been fortunate enough to score business class tickets using points on both ANA and Singapore Airlines in the past 12 months. My only complaint is that the footwells on both while in the lie-flat position are pretty small for me. I’m 6’2” tall with size 12 feet. And it’s difficult getting my feet oriented in a comfortable way. Only airline seat I haven’t had that issue with is the JAL Sky Suite, a 2-3-2 configuration that works great for me.

Flying out from Singapore, Singapore airlines charges more than twice of the middle eastern airlines to Europe while offering much less. Not saying they are bad but just not worth the money.

Some of the views on emirates are of First Class not business! Secondly, though Qatar is great the REAL PROBLEM is the multiple configurations in their fleet. It is all well and good to advertise their Q suites but not a large part of their fleet has them. For the rest it is pot luck and some are below standard but the price is the same. This is really frustrating!

Fully agree with your selection, however, do not agree with Qatar Airlines being number one. An airline which still have 2-2-2 seating should not be announced as number 1.

Thank you very much for your video. I have had the privilege to have flown four of the five airlines and I agree with your ranking. I do have some comments about Emirates. Firstly, their 2-3-2 configuration is a big time loser. We stopped flying Emirates business class after having experienced this. We then flew first class last year, but we found it difficult to justify the extra cost, so we have reversed to Qatar for our upcoming trip. You showed the Dom champagne in your video. This is only served in first class, and then only after take off.

I fly regularly between Manchester and Bangkok. Tried all the usual European, Asian and Middle East carriers and they are all very much the same. Before Covid i used mostly Emirates or Qatar but their prices have gone through the roof in the past couple of years. Last couple of trips i used Air France which was half the price of Emirates and just as good except they dont have a dedicated lounge at Manchester.

Emirates 777 business is pretty medium at best (I also don’t like the 2-3-2) but their a380 is worth the full price.

Check very carefully when booking Cathay Pacific. Recently I booked on an A330 flight. Business class configuration as in your video. What I got was a B777 with a 2-3 2 layout on an absolutely full flight. No multi page menu. Very small choice of wine - basically a cheap Champagne and one red, one white and a dessert wine. No comment on the food but the coffee was good. To make matters worse, one of the toilets became inoperable. Never again!

Recently flew Cathay Pacific from HK to Manchester….i normally fly Qatar and Emirates, however I totally agree that Cathay cabin crew are in a different league to all the others.

I flew Business class with ANA few times but the flatbed seat is out dated not as in you video. The foods are average.
