The Finnair flight i took from Frankfurt to Tampa was nice. The outstanding part was a flight attendant handing out homemade cookies that were a gift to the crew. Granted, they were distinctly different from cookies found in other countries, but they were great with black coffee.

The business class seats are really innovative. Cozy to rest and sleep and less heavy, thus saving fuels.

Until you realize their food portion is extremely limited and everything has a potential hidden fee. Then bam! Long term flight isn’t worth it.

Had very bad experience with their service recovery for baggage delay, delayed for 2 days only for 100 euros compensation, they refused to cover my whole expenses of 155 euros…such a stingy company! 😢

I haven't had the opportunity to fly Finnair, was looking at them when flying to China in 2009 and 2010 but the layover in Helsinki was just way too long compared to flying with Lufthansa or KLM and having the layover in Frankfurt or Schiphol (sadly SAS had discontinued the direct flight between Copenhagen and Shanghai again at the time of my 2nd and 3rd trip to China. On first trip in late 2006, I flew direct flight with SAS from Copenhagen to Shanghai)

Still hoping to try Finnair one day if I fly on a route where they're an option. I've heard a lot of good reviews about Finnair!

I personally do like both Lufthansa and KLM though, SAS is nice as well, and if going with a low cost airline, I go Norwegian. Haven't dared to try Ryan Air for many (some obvious) reasons...

Wow! Finnair 🇫🇮 is a BOLD & I’d say WRONG choice. I’d have to go with SWISS 🇨🇭 or Lufthansa 🇩🇪 as they have pretty good Biz Classes on their wide body jets internationally such as the LH & LX A330 & A340 jets as well as B777 & B787 jets. Specifically the SWISS B777 cabin vs all the Lufthansa Biz Class seats as SWISS product is far superior
