Everything from the pre-ending fade in music and imagery, the suspense, the song and lyrics and of course the setting. HxH isn't just a masterclass manga, but the studio here did an outstanding execution that delivers this experience. Everything from muting Killua's footsteps, to hunterpedia, to choice of soundtracks and imagery. Hats off to the studio for showing so much passion an enacting this amazing manga, hats off for the directors of the show and the amazing writing, you're no less than togashi's genius

The build up is my favorite part, it's just so good. During the Chimera ant arc, when the episode was basically phenomenal and that part comes in with the narrator... simply magnificent.

It's epic to see how in this arc the ants that are depicted as monsters and evil were actually leaning on to becoming more humane on a bonding and understanding level. While on the other side, the hunters, leaned on to becoming the necessary monsters and thus became more or less evil themselves. Gon had no other desire than to dissect Pitou, Netero refused to talk with Meruem and insisted on a fight to the death, and so much more had happened, the hunters became the dark monsters themselves while they started off rather 'okay'. While the ants, who were early described and shown as true monsters, leaned on to becoming more interested and understanding to such a degree they felt and accepted their emotions, they were progressing and were evolving in some sense to become more human.

This song fits perfectly with everything. This arc’s build up, the despair experienced by the characters, their emotions, the hopeless situation in which they are in, and what’s better, the confrontation at the end of every episode which can be applied to every emotion they feel, like rage, sadness, hope.etc. That’s why every time I see it at the end of an episode it literally gives me so much hype. Bro and the feeling you get from them being a team, for the goals of both parties, their fights and why they do so is just sooo goood. I regret not watching this show before, my friend was right, HunterxHunter is literally gold.
