Inspiring Short: True Blue, Through and Through | Jeffrey R. Holland

Then BYU president Jeffrey R. Holland shared a story of integrity and faith in a 1986 devotional. While traveling back from a mission in Hawaii, nineteen-year-old Joseph F. Smith had a run in with  a group of men intent on hurting any member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that they came across. Smith’s response showed courage in answering the question “For what do I live?”

When I was younger, I let what others thought of me be MORE important than what rang true in my soul.
Years later I remember that other people aren't my goal, Father is, and He is ABOVE all in love, power, and honor. Therefore, if He is with me, who can be against me?
No matter how MANY attacks or how HARD the attacks can be, our Heavenly Father will walk us through them. Many times, those situations are opportunities to plant Gospel seeds (sometimes w/o even knowing you're doing it.)
In other words: Be an instrument of the Holy Spirit and help gather Zion🙏🏻👍🏻🌻🐝
