Extra IP68 For Your S24 Ultra?

Today we’re taking a look at the Humixx waterproof case for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Humixx is back sponsoring this review for the S24 Ultra launch. This is a very unique case in that it promises ip68 water resistance. While the S24 Ultra is already ip68 rated, Samsung actually says that they have only tested this up to 3.3ft for 30 minutes while the Humixx case is good for up to 6.6ft in terms of submersions for at least 2 hours. If you need those underwater vacation videos or you really want to use your phone at a waterpark, this case seems like it would buy you some extra depth and time in the water. I haven’t seen any cases like this before, so I was very interested in checking it out. The case in general is a bit larger and thicker than most other cases and that’s definitely because of how it nearly fully encloses the S24 Ultra phone. There are removable plugs at the bottom of the case for the ‘call plug’ if you need to make a phone call and a much larger USB-C and S-pen cover. The larger cover seems relatively tight, the call plug seems like it will stay in place as well but it's much smaller. As for the case type, this is a dual layer case, it seals together with the back side held on to the front piece with relatively good pressure. The case forms a large TPU bumper all around the perimeter of the case to help with impacts. As for the construction and protection factors, we obviously have two thicker screen protector like panels for the front and backside of the case. Both the front and the back sides of the case actually create bezels that lift the phone body up off of a flat surface. This is a crucial protection feature; you always want your case to take the brunt of the impact forces so it can absorb and redistribute those to increase the chances of your phone surviving. Humixx actually rates this case as being able to sustain a 14ft drop which should be plenty for most people. The built in screen protector was relatively thick and very importantly, it did not negatively impact my fingerprint unlock success, I had no issues and didn't even need to rescan my fingerprint, though I would always recommend that with any screen protectors.

The IP68 certificate does not guarantee 100% that it is water resistant. If by any chance water gets into the device, Samsung does not recognize the warranty. So you do immersion of the mobile phone at your own risk.

Is the display cover of the case made out of tempered glass or just normal transparent TPU? I will have to remove the case while gaming just to make sure its not glass so that i won't have to worry about dust on the back of the display cover👍🙃

I had something similar like that but for the a54 and there are hard protruding plastic parts inside the case that keeps the phone centered that will eventually scratch then phones body because my phone case like was too tight. it was waterproof but the the tightness will mar the phone.

THE MAGSAFE RING YOU GUYS CAN BUY SEPERATELY AS SOMETHING LIKE A STICKER! SO GO ON FOR THAT (NO, it does not effekt the S-Pen as long as you do not use the magsafe ring, so as long as you have not magsafed something onto it (like a powerbank or something!)
