685 pounds in the bed of a mid-size is not light-weight, to me. My ideal would be a composite/fiberglass over-cab popup canopy that extends the full length of my club cab, and 2 or 3 guys can mount to the bed rail.

My pickup is also my daily driver, so unless I was headed out, I wouldn't want to carry all that weight. I also stay away from propane, because of its bulk and weight. Coleman gas is less convenient, but it's more concentrated energy, and stores in almost weightless cans. I think propane light is more constant. That's propane's big advantage. But a Coleman-fuel stove is just as easy. You have to keep pumping-up or filling-up a lantern, and the light fades as the pressure drops. But one refuel of the stove tank is good for several meals, and one pump-up per meal is all you need. For lighting in camp, LEDs are the way to go.

Seems as though most companies want to see me a bunch of camping gear along with the shell. I already have camping gear, and cooking inside a camper is pretty nasty. People do like that fancy built-in stuff, but part of my joy of camping is setting up a couple tables, my 30-year-old Coleman stove, rigging a canopy/screen room/tent. If I need to eat on the fly, I've got my "tailgate system, " where I can whip something up faster than a pit crew at the Indy 500. It's just a matter of putting your cooking gear and/or lunch stuff at the rear of your bed. Learned how to do that in college, as the unofficial caterer on geology field trips. Didn't mean to be. That's just how it made the most sense to me, and I just ended up feeding everybody because I COULD.

I thought you didn’t do the whole thing. What is the mesh on the sides around the windows what are the windows.

Cost to much for what your getting. I'd put that camper shell in the $4500.00 range at best.

Of course anyone can make a light weight camper if they don't include the most important features in it.

The Capra is a lot of money for a very weak design.

$15, 000 is way too much for something with no kitchen or bathroom.
