Care for your probe like your brand new pair of shoes. These tips for proper usage will help extend the life of your probe.

• Use the probe within its specs.
- Internal sensor max: 212°F/100°C
- Ambient sensor max: 527°F/275°C
- Grilling, smoking, roasting, airfrying, panfrying is all good.
*Do not use for microwaving, pressure cooking, deep frying.
• When it’s time to eat, remove the probe carefully.
- Pull directly back, and do not wiggle it side to side or up and down.
- Let it cool down before wash.
- Clean and dry completely after each use before placing it back in the charger.
*the probe is dishwasher safe.

If the advice is to pull the probe by holding it by the steel, it would have been better when there was something to hold on to.

Love my Meater but the silver part has detached from the ambient sensor. Still works but it shouldn’t split after 3 years of use.

Can I deep it in hot oil for cooking chicken?

My meater broke after a few uses in one year, they won't refund the 300$ I spent on it. Wouldn't recommend to anyone
