I was terrified of this at first but you get used to it. It's annoying having 2 screws to fiddle with as they are so tiny and easily dropped. A magnetic screwdriver would be better. But once charged mine lasts for a good 6 months so can't complain. My only gripe is I cannot work out how to talk to people at door. But it's not crucial. Your vid is helping many who didn't have a clue like I was at first! There are so many versions!

So, I just got one of these, had it plugged in to the charger all night and all I got was a fast blinking light, it started off blinking slow and then changed to fast blinking within a minute or two and I guess never fully charged. When I try to check the battery level, it just says "hardwired" and doesn't give me a percentage. Took it off the charger and received an email saying the battery level was at 5%. Checked the app, and it still said, "Hardwired." Any advice?

I also managed to lose my screws at the bottom of my Ring doorbell, 2nd generation. Are the screws at the bottom T6 or T15 longs?

Hi just got new ring 2nd gen plugged in to fully charge battery front showing a blue ring pulsing clock face blue from 12 to 12.40 how do you know when fully charged ?

I need to remove it charge battery every couple of months, it’s ring doorbell 2nd generation, anyway it can charge without removing doorbell?

Ring Video Doorbell 2nd Generation battery is not charging properly with wall adapter. 24 Amps. And when i removed the door bell and connect it via micro usb, it charged flawlessly. I know the 2020 ring door bell battery is built in and not easy to replace. Need assistance . Would be Really Appreciated.
