Wow thanks for the tip of grabbing the bottom to pull out. I never put that little screw in because the cover is so hard to get off. I have never gotten the cover off without multiple tries. Sometimes over days to recover from sore fingers, hands and arms. Once I tried it your way it came right off with no bad words even. Thanks so much!

There are 3 things that make this easier for me. 1st - I bought a second battery so that I always have one charged and ready to go. 2nd - I don't use the screw. 3rd - I saved the link to this video in a notes app.

Be careful if you live in a really cold climate. The plastic gets quite brittle. I shattered one just lightly pulling it off.

Your ring doorbell doesn't look like it's mounted very well. It's not flush and there is a big gap at the top. And thank you for the information on removing the cover.
