I just realised, Nintendo are doing the exact same trick with the 3DS, saying the Switch won't replace it and even releasing the new 2DS XL as the DS line's GBA Micro. I have no doubts the New 2DS XL will be the last in the DS line and literally be the new GBA Micro so if you're a collector, snatch them when they're cheap

I remember when I first got my DS. I didn't care for videogames when I was young, but my mom/grandmom saw my grades and said "DS now". So we go to Wal-Mart and they asked what I wanted. I didn't know at the time what they were doing, so I pointed at New Super Mario Bros. 7 years later I'm 14 with a 3DS, hunting down the Switch.

I remember well
It was during christmas, I went to Panama with my family and I asked for a DS for present

I got the Fat DS while my sister got the DS lite

I loved my DS, I took great care of it, and got 4 o 5 GBA games in as well

My DS was dying beginning 2010 -20??

My parents for some reason decided without asking that they would give my DS as a present for my brother ( with and R4 card )

One month, the DS was cracked into two pieces, every time a game was readed, it got stuck, and the worst, the R4 card was destroyed as well

I was devastated....and so I decided to get a 3DS near 2015

got a used DSi from my middle brother ( who got a New 3DS )

but how much I miss my DS ( got a PSVITA during last christmas as well, enjoying P4Golden and God Eater remasters )

I sold my nintendo ds lite for 70 bucks with 9 games and a r4 card. Then i bought the 3ds for 30 bucks with 6 games.
