The driver of the Republic Services trash truck was making his rounds in the neighborhood picking up trash when he realized his load was on fire. He knew he was near the parking lot of the school district and made his way there, where he dumped his load. Firefighters were able to put out the trash fire in approx. 20 minutes. Republic Services will be sending a crew to clean up the mess.
