San Diego: Trash Truck Fire 01302020

The driver of a City of San Diego Trash Truck dumped his load onto the street when he saw smoke billowing from the container area of the truck.
Firefighters responded and were able to put out the fire after approx 10 minutes. There were no injuries and this section of the road is closed until the clean up can be done.

Tenet this same thing happening to one our trucks before, the driver pulled over ever where he could, and right there on the street, dumped all over the garbage out of the back of the truck until the fire department arrived and they located what actually was burning, could smell all that garbage for at least a mile if not more, then they had to shovel alll of the trash right back into the truck again...
