Hi guys,

It's Jess here and welcome or welcome back to my channel.
Today's video is the third episode of the series "Finding my perfect Spring dress". I'm going to share with you how I made a puff sleeve bustier dress from scratch.
This dress is quite complicated to make. So I hope the way I share will help you out a bit in making your dress
To make this dress, please check out my basic information below:
- Sewing machine: Merrit Joyful Sewing
- Material: 3m of mix cotton & chiffon
- My body measurement: 82-64-92. I'm 165cm and usually wear Small size

This dress is truly an elegant dress that you can wear to the wedding party or to the date on the weekend. I'm so happy with the way it turn out. I hope you will like it too and try it out.
And stay connected around social media with me here:

Beautiful! I just can't stop myself from warning the fellow sewists here against following your sleeve construction process - it won't work for everybody. If you have bigger brests or thicker upper arms, such sleeves won't be comfortable. Instead, make the sleeves the traditional way: valley-peak-valley, where only the "peak" part is gathered.

The front pattern is blowing my mind. How are you so smart?

What a beautiful dress it is like a 1950s dress.
All 3 spring dresses are great I don’t know which to make first.
You get some really fabrics I can’t find anything like them in U.K. but I shall keep looking.

Dear Jess, thank you so much for the video! I am so to say a beginner in sewing. The first skirt I sew was thanks to your video. I may tell you that your videos are simple and easy to follow plus they don't last eternally. Your instructions are the most clear in YT. I would like to learn a principle of inserting darts on the clothes so I could apply it on my wardrobe for tailor-made look. Thank you for considering to make such a video . :) However, keep doing! You are really the best!! Regards from Montenegro. Valentina

If someone doesn't have a t-shirt similar to the one she uses to make the pattern, I recently made the chelsea dress using a vikisews pattern that cost me less than 2€, and it looks so similar to this dress! :)
although Jess gives such clear instructions I doubt anyone will need it!

Such a beautiful fabric print. I absolutely love the sleeves and think the top piece would go wonderfully with a A-line/ circle skirt bottom. ❤️ I’m so inspired, hopefully I can get some fabric to make this dress.
