It does matter how you drive it. With proper pedal application I can make the 1-3 shift so smooth you don't feel it.

Loved watching you drive up and down Franklin Blvd and out 97 in Cambridge.
I actually just bought the exact same truck but I got the 502A with colour-matched bumpers and trim and I opted for the adaptive/self driving option and it is amazing. I’m wondering why no one is talking about the loud brake re-gen noise that is present under 35 Km/h? Drive with the window open and you will hear it.

Can you manually select all electric-battery only?? And the same with gas, can you select all gas only?? Versus the hybrid mode, where the computer decides both gas and electric?? Thanks,

I have the ten speed transmission in both my 2020 super duty and in my 2022 power boost no problems at all

There is some Learning curve, LOL. You have to get used to just getting in, hitting the start button, and then driving off without waiting to hear the engine start! Less transmission lurch in Eco mode

I agree with your 10 speed transmission review. I have a 2019 F-150 with at 10 speed and I hate it. Not only does it shift rough, but it seems to amplify the turbo lag. My last F-150 had a 6 speed and I barely noticed any turbo lag. The 10 speed really needs to be re-worked.

I own a 2021 F150, though far from perfect its a great truck. No, I’m not a Ford fan boy as I’ve owned many different brands ( and still own a few others). First the tranny supposedly learns your driving style to program the shifting, I’ve never had more than the odd shudder. Perhaps this being a press vehicle has been beat upon? Secondly the hybrid option is a $5000+ option above the 2.7l engine ( mine), according to the U.S. gov mpg web site you’ll only save $1500 over 5 years with the hybrid. This makes the payback a long time coming unless you plan to do nothing but city driving over the coarse of its life span.

Unless you've owned and driven the 3.5 EB, quit spreading a myth about it's fuel efficiency. I own 2 of my own and my business has a small fleet of them. I'm currently averaging 9.7L/100kms on highway driving here in Ontario. I'm not a slow driver but am experienced at getting the most out of a litre of gas.Typical fuel consumption with around town stop and go and highway driving is 10.7L/100kms. Towing a 6000 lb RV travel trailer I get around 17.1L/100kms. The problem with so many drivers of this motor is, it's so darn fast and fun to drive, people develop a heavy foot and therefore suffer the consequences of poor fuel just like any other motor.
