Other Investment Platforms I Use:

InvestEngine has become the price leader when it comes to commission-free DIY investing in ETFs, with zero account fees, zero trading fees and zero FX fees. The platform also offers a competitive robo-investing product with relatively small 0.25% annual platform fee.

In this video, I provide a step by step walkthrough guide of both sides of the platform.

InvestEngine UK Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority FRN: 801128.

It’s worth noting you really want to avoid small funds or ones which aren’t traded often. The buy sell cycle is slow and need to expect a week but that’s why it’s free. The managed isa isn’t that great and you will quickly want to do your own.

Thanks so much Alex! Great video - really clear and accessible. One question: instead of one portfolio with multiple etfs I just have multiple etfs in their own separate portfolios. Is this an issue?

Hi Alex, can you buy the EFTs in euro? I am an Irish man living in London. I will be returning to Ireland in the future and wasn't sure what the best way would be to invest using invest engine.

Hi Alex.
I want to move a small DC pension to a draw down. Take the 25% tax free and invest the rest in the draw down. Is this InvestEngine a good option do you think? Cheers

Another question. Can you add EFT's to an existing portfolio on the app? I am trying to find out more about investing but every time I google stuff or watch videos it's people recommending apps. I really like the look of Invest Engine as I am a complete beginner but don't want to commit until I understand about trading. I am just finding it hard to find sources.

How do the EFT fees work? Do they take it out of the invest engine account? Also, I want to find out more about investing. Where is the best place to start for research (like books or websites)?

Thank you for providing such the informative video❤

I am a UK resident for the following 2 years and then It is questionable.

I want to start an investing, but doubting if it’s prudent considering my residency and if can I ever expect a return in 2 years?

What would you recommend?

Ask them what you need to do if you are dealing with one of their customers death and you have probate and then compare it to any other financial institution…imagine being the bereaved…always worth asking such a question….

How long is " Long term " exactly?

You should never use the term ( Trust me ) because most people do not know who you are or what you do.
