Fun fact : The car looked very familiar to me. When I saw the license plate, I realized why. I work as a mechanic at Audi in OHV and recently changed the oil on it. The world is so small 😂

I have a 2016 Stage 1 TTRS on 100 octane ecu map (stock hardware) and it’ll do 7.5/8 depending on air temperature and humidity. It’ll push all the way to 315kmh on the odometer (just over 300 gps)

I drive the 8P RS3 and sometimes miss the pops and bangs that the 8V does. But this one didn't so much. I wonder how many out there have a pop and bang tune. I also like how high pitched the 8P revs, different note to the DAZA engine. Great cars!

The tune is probably an OTS tune, thats why it has some dips through the rev line. He should go to a tuner who can tune it on a dyno, a tune that is made for just this car. No dips or flat spots and pretty sure he can get a few more ponies and still be in the safe zone.
Ive actually noticed a pattern when it comes to tuning. Europeans go more with a custom tune for their cars and americans really looove ots/can tunes like apr.
Those i talked to had absolutely no faith in custom tuners. Quite interesting.

My 2014 EWG m135i has made that noise pretty much from new. It's definitely the wastegate actuator arm, as I've put pressure on it using a screwdriver and the noise immediately stops. Every time I've reported it to the dealer they say it's normal 😅
