The tuatara(sp) could possibly use the 3rd eye on its head to detect aerial predators like birds if it's only light sensitive.

If I remember correctly, the blood of the horse shoe crabs is blue, and is important medically. They are "bled" on a regular basis, and are not killed, but returned to the ocean. I don't remember all of the specifics, but their blood has such specific properties that it's worth $15, 000 a quart!

I have seen Gharyals in zoo. Although I didn't knew they were that endangered. We still get confused with a crocodile and gharyal because we usually say both of them as "magarmachh"
