I love my Vitex shrub/small tree! It's on it's second bloom cycle, looking quite beautiful and attracting many pollinators. I'm limbing it up to form a small multi trunk tree so I can dead head after the first bloom!

these shrubs look gorgeous. great quality. I'm building out beds slowly for fall planting in my little yard. We are hitting 102 today so can't stay long out there. I've been wanting to try abelia, but again I've been burned so many times by plants that are supposed to do well in full sun but "full sun" is not necessarily Houston, Texas sun. I need a creekside consultation! ha!
