At her 2nd trial, she was found guilty on all charges and sentenced to 65 years. However, she still maintains her innocence, which is nuts.

My wife and I felt bad and let a pregnant woman rent out our basement apartment, well it wasn’t too long before this guy calling himself her boyfriend started coming over and staying and it was fine at first until the problems began. We were out of town for the weekend and when we came home on Sunday they had trashed our house, there was blood on the walls.

As I’m getting my stuff out of the car my neighbor comes up to me and tells me they had to call the police on my roommate because her ‘’boyfriend’’ beat the crap out of her! Plus the loud party they had that lead up to the incident.
She gets out of the hospital the next day, tells me she doesn’t want to ever see this guy again and wants us to help get his stuff out of the house. This is when I find his bag that’s filled with broken crack pipe stems, syringes, and empty bags of crack!

Five days later sheriffs department breaks down my front door and serves me paperwork with a warrant for her arrest for jumping bail and not showing up to court six months before she moved in with us! She’s hiding downstairs and refuses to open the door and since I am the homeowner the police need to ask my permission to break down another door, but she finally emerges from the basement!
Since then, we have never let anyone rent a room from us unless they provided background checks, credit checks, and all the other credentials needed. because you have no idea who you’re letting in your house and that was a huge lesson for us.

I am shocked there was a mistrial on all the other charges. The victim said she was an active participant throughout the whole thing. The witness also said she had possession of the gun. I don’t see how she can say something different and people go ‘oh maybe it was all the boyfriend.’ There was a victim AND a witness!

Only guilty on ONE of the charges? Where the hell did they find such incompetent jurors? Jesus. That's awful.

The man wanted to die by cop. Maybe because they knew they had been "found out". Also very much doubt it was the first time they did this.

Thanks for the video. So much murder and mayhem in the news it's easy to miss stories like this one...

How the eff did it end in a mistrial?! Were the jury members all brain dead?? I'm sorry, the fact that Heidi left the house and then returned without alerting authorities is enough proof to me that she was an active participant in the crime. Not to mention the living victim said she was actively participating and she has no reason to lie, unlike Heidi who has every reason to claim victimhood. A huge error in justice here, I hope the next jury has more sense.

Who has a dead body in the house and then INVITES someone over?!

Looked like a gun to me, and if it wasn't a gun he was certaingly holding it like it was a gun.

The fact that she left the house and went back without getting help, tells you she's guilty.

I use to bring in people who didn't have a place to live help them out as much as I could. I haven't done that in a long time, I don't think I can be that vulnerable again when shit like this happens ☹️

There is a surviving victim!!! She straight up told them that this evil woman was involved. I know it's one persons word against another but come on...there was a witness to back parts of the victims testimony and I'm positive we all know who was telling the truth. Whoever on that jury that couldn't see the truth is absolutely useless. Hope she is convicted and serves whatever maximum time is allowed.

I watch your channel because you tell the story. No background or carrying on about the city, state, or what everyone had for breakfast. Just the story, the facts. Thank you!

How they couldn’t find Heidi Carter guilty on all counts is baffling to me. She was apparently an active participant and was willing to follow through on all of the crimes that were committed against that poor woman and man who lost his life from a drug fueled POS. I hate that juries tend to disbelieve women of rape when it has clearly been committed against them and the only saving outcome is that she survived physically(possibly) but emotionally she will need a great deal of therapy and unconditional support and love.
