Gosh what a life to live before being murdered 🥺🥺 getting pregnant as a teenager and having to give the baby away then separate from the Father, fight for her rights to custody only not to receive anything then she goes out for a walk in middle of the night and hitch hikes along the dreaded highway of tears. This screams of foul play. Hitchhiking is extremely dangerous and always has been. The poor girl didn't have alot of things in her favor 😓😓😥😥 no I don't think it was suicide. Certianly sounds like Helen hitched a ride from a nasty individual on the highway of tears similar to that of Amber Tuccurro in 2010

Why don’t the put cameras along the highway of tears as I live in Ireland and know about this highway, there’s far too many people disappear and are never seen again, is it because most of the victims are First Nation people ? ? It would be worth the cost of cameras to save life’s

fyi - Hitch hiking during the 1900-1980's was not considered to be odd - teenagers did not have their own cars and lost of people got lifts in and out of towns with other people across the world - easy to judge it as not good behaviour now - commonplace then - like smoking / drink driving and lots of other behaviours -

Helen frost. What a lonely place to disappear and the name highway of tears sent a chill down my spine. This poor girl goes out for a walk and is never seen again. This whole story filled me with sadness. She obviously wanted to provide a home for her daughter but circumstances all worked against Helen. This young woman sounds as though she really didn’t have a plan I place so that that she could have her child returned to her then to disappear like she did is just too sad. That part of the world is vast in forests and mountains so it looks as though her murder will never be solved. I think it’s too easy in cases like these to say well she just left and started a new life somewhere else. I am convinced she is buried somewhere in the wilderness which is vast and her family will never be able to bury her and mourn her like she deserves. What a very sad story. I hope one day her remains are found and she can be buried with her family.
