Hey Guys, YT will change their criteria for getting the silver play button from 100k subscribers to 200k subscribers by the end of the month. I know I am very far off. But if you could help me reach that target by SUBSCRIBING I would appreciate it. This is the only good thing in my life currently!

For those confused, the witness that was supporting her friend asked where Aaron Smith was with Aaron Smith right infront of her. It showed that she never had met Aaron which means she never saw him attack her friend

A prosecutor with integrity! That shouldn't be unusual.

That wasn’t really the prosecutor losing his case but him realizing the defendant wasn’t guilty. Good on him to actually implement justice in the justice system.

Actually surprised the DA dropped it. Some of them would have absolutely kept trying to convict the guy

This wasn't in court, but back in high-school. We didn't go to a normal school. But a school basically ran by students with some staff to keep order, and the duties we couldn't do, like teach. But yeah, we lived there, worked there, just everything except robotics which was done off grounds.

I was head of our dorms disaplinary bay. Basically I was student's last chance before they lost their contracts for being there. I failed twice, one of those students accused me of attacking him, and kicking him. (Way beyond what I was permitted, obviously.

But yeah while I was being accused, he was telling his side of the story. The problem for him was, usually I wouldn't have been able to prove I wasn't there because on the average day, I would have been going in and out of the dorm constantly, and the staff member doing the investigation had been part of accusing me for something I didn't do before. They were threatening police and everything, but luckily that was the one day, that I felt like watching movies in the theater, so I asked him what time this happened, and got all the people who saw me in the theater to back me, including that staff members personal assistants.

Neadless to say, I wasn't the one who lost my contact that night.

First lesson of law school should be that human statement is the lowest form of evidence and question testing that understanding should be in every exam and test between law school entrance exam and becoming a judge.

The fact that it takes an act of stupidity and bad luck on the part of the liars, and a somewhat special skill on the part of the defense attorney, to disprove an accusation with false witnesses, makes me wonder how many times things like this have happened where the innocent are found guilty. Probably many more than we think.
There are people roaming out there, like roaring lions looking for their prey, who would ruin your life for no reason and with no way to do anything about it if luck, mere luck, is not in your favor. That terrifies me.

My ex refused to tell his lawyer the entire truth about pretty much any situation we were talking about in court. I was under oath. She decided to ask me if I had ever witnessed him harm anyone since I had known him. Of course I had, but when she decided to challenge me with can you prove it that’s when it became unfortunate because I was a witness to Eric beating the shit out of his mother in 2008. He went to jail on Christmas Eve and I was there when it happened. Since he didn’t tell his lawyer that information because he thought because it was expunged no one would be able to find out about it but that’s not how expungements work. Expungement only cleans your record for employers and creditors, not judges and lawyers. After hearing such a bombshell, she wanted to ignore my answer and the judge said no she was going to keep it on record as a pattern of behavior. if you’re ever in trouble be 100% embarrassingly honest with your lawyer. Their job is to protect you and they can’t do that if you don’t tell them what’s going on. Protect yourselves always lawyer up and never never never keep anything from your lawyer. It totally fucked my ex.

So, no consequences for those that falsely accused, right?
No consequences for investigators and prosecutors, right?

Should have counter sued for defamation, fraud, making a false report, and for purgery.

My father was a lawyer. He represented a woman in a sexual harassment case against another lawyer who was the woman's former employer. This other lawyer sent the woman a harassing letter that basically said, "Yeah, I did it, but you'll never prove it!" My father treated it as a signed confession.

DA had to drop. If the witness then lied on the stand he is now a part of the case and could be called as a witness.

i was testifying for the Federal Trade Commission concerning pressure sales tactics in Women's Health Spa's in 1976. The lawyer kept misnaming the company i worked for (i was at my fair lady and he mentioned continental spa). After the 4th mistake by the lawyer (with a different witness) the Judge decided he was going to delay further testimony until a lawyer could be found that knew who he was defending. (

The reality was they waited a week and then retried him and won.
