Junior Engineer vs Senior Network Engineer. Enjoy this hilarious video of me doing an impersonation of how a Sr. network engineer handles cases compared to a Jr. network engineer. A senior engineer, may come off as an arrogant know-it-all, acting quickly to get things done. Whereas the junior engineer, completely drew a blank in the stressful situations.

I didn't actually messup this bad. This video is intended to be a joke.

If my senior is there, he'll tell user to raise a ticket and after 15 minutes he'll tell me to say we're still working on issue. 😅

If rebooting the router fixes the issue for an enterprise network, fire the “senior” 😅

This literally confirmed I'm a Senior Network engineer. 😂. Most user network complaints are usually ID10T isuuses, which only experience can teach you how to know and solve them in seconds.

Just hit cmd and ping the ip, If it pings back. Then call 911. 😂

If the network is reallyy down, then you just need to go straight to the core of it. Well done asking for a reboot. Easy stuff first

Is network engineer also a physical job?

If your first step in troubleshooting is to reboot the router, you're a terrible engineer and probably know next to nothing about how networking actually works. They created the OSI model for a reason.

I'm sorry I think the term "engineer" is getting thrown around to loosely. What kind of role is this in reference to? In Enterprise networks you don't just reboot a router maybe if it's a remote location that uses a modem for internet connectivity and you have a tunnel over then maybe you ask them to reboot the modem. But the router? What kind of mom pop shop you running here lol
