What If Obito And Kakashi Were Reincarnations?

Indra and Asura’s reincarnation cycle within Naruto always fascinated me. However, the way reincarnation in Naruto has further confused me still. How some go to the Pure Land, while others must be reincarnated. But as I think about it, my assumption is that, when speaking of “Reincarnation”, they don’t mean it in a literal sense, as we know Hashirama and Madara must have gone there. The fact that they can be subject to Impure World Reincarnation tells me that their souls can’t be residing within Naruto and Sasuke in a literal sense, elsewise Kabuto and Orochimaru’s attempts to reincarnate them would fail, because technically they’re already reincarnated. But my own personal opinion on this matter is that their will, their chakra, is being passed down in such a way as genes are passed down. One will notice that Naruto and Sasuke remain in the familial line of Hashirama and Madara. And Hashirama and Madara remain in the family line of Asura and Indra. Likely what happens is that either through mixing of Chakra, or perhaps by direct chance, Indra and Asura’s chakra is recreated and whoever inherits this chakra will feel the will of Indra and Asura strongest. We already know that the Uchiha and Senju both are effected by Indra and Asura’s will, just not as strongly as the reincarnations, which is why Zetsu mentioned that it is unusual to see incarnations of Indra and Asura working so closely together. He says this with a straight face despite knowing that Hashirama and Madara exist. But alas, I’m talking a bit to much about this. The way they reincarnate is not something I’ve extensively studied, and the data books may provide insight into it. And if they do, feel free to tell me about it in the comments. I’d love to hear all of the Naruto lore you all have seen and heard. But the point of this video remains with the concept of Reincarnation. However, instead of it being Naruto and Sasuke who are the reincarnations, I wish to make it someone else. Two other people in fact. Obito and Kakashi.

It is interesting that, assuming both are reincarnations, Obito resembles Ashura while Kakashi resembles Indra as children while the opposite happens when they grow up

This is a good start, but I wish you did more with Kakashi, don’t forget, he was one of Kushina’s guards while she was giving birth, and he would also have access to the Rinnegan and should’ve awakened it alongside Obito because Indra and Ashura’s chakra mixed in that state, it would’ve been cool to see Kakashi save Minato and to see them fight with their Rinnegan abilities, Obito would likely win because of his insane chakra pool and honestly better Kamui, even so, since Kakashi likely had a massive Chakra Pool too thanks to being one of Ashura’s incarnates it would’ve been a great fight, missed potential imo, I really hope Kakashi plays a bigger role in part 2

my thoughts before seeing the video: it would kinda cool if Obito was the reincarnation of Asura as an Uchiha and Kakashi the reincarnation of Indra as somebody else and somehow they kinda switch places with the classic "good and bad" thing and it pretty much shows that Indra always had a good heart but bad environment.

Im gonna be honest. Video mostly just re-tells Obito’s backstory and doesn’t do anything with Kakashi. Aside from giving Obito the Rinnegan when Rin dies the video doesn’t change much until about minute 25. Most notable changes are that Obito kills Minato and Naruto therefore doesn’t get the nine tails.

The way reincarnation works is that indras and ashuras souls are right beside narutos and Sasuke souls, sharing chakras with each other along the way.
